Family Dinner at Juan’s Bistro

Since me and my siblings are still in school here in Manila and our home is in Laguna, our parents will always drop by one or two times a week to check up on us and take us out. Last Sunday, we had dinner at Juan’s Bistro. My dad was craving for their Sinigang sa bayabas, but to our dismay, they’ve already removed that from their revised menu. Nevertheless, they had new tasty dishes worth trying. :)

Chicharon Rice. First time I ever heard of such dish! We ordered two plates of this. This will do good by itself. The chicharon bits were super crispy and crunchy!

Crispy Pata. What better to pair with chicharon rice than this right? Hahaha! I just love Crispy Pata. I order this every time I see it on the menu :)

Sinigang na Bangus Belly. My all time favorite dish is Sinigang na Hipon, but it’s always nice to change things a little bit. I like how the Sinigang’s sweetness, saltiness and sourness were well balanced.

Crispy Crablets. Kinda weird eating the whole thing, especially the legs but it was good to say the least.

Pork BBQ. Very soft and tender pork meat. Yum!

My folks will be arriving here in a while and I have to get ready. Happy Sunday family day, everyone! :)
