Family Dinner at Dulcinea

Most of the time, my family would just opt to go to Mall of Asia, since it’s nearest our condo and we already know every inch of that place by heart, but the place gets super crowded. My parents wanted to watch Contraband and SM cinema? Well, uhmmm, errrrr… it stinks! Literally! Boo! That’s a major pet peeve of mine and I can get claustrophobic. Plus, there are no seat reservations, so you have to wait in line for an hour or two, or else you’ll have no choice but to sit either on the farthest (where you won’t really feel that you’re watching on the big screen) or the nearest seats (where you won’t be able to see the whole picture and it feels like when you reach out your hand, you can touch the screen already, and you’ll feel woozy at the end of the movie) from the screen. To make things worse, an inconsiderate giraffe may seat in front of you and you won’t be able to see anything but the back of his head and try to control yourself from slapping him (personal experience) Fine, enough about SM rants. Haha!

So last Sunday, our family ate at Dulcinea in Powerplant Mall. I was craving for paella! :)

Paella Valenciana

Flavorful… but only 2 prawns? :(

Grilled Tenderloin for my sister, Arianne.

Lengua Estofada for my Dad.

Steak A La Pobre for my brother, Kevin.

Roasted Porkloin  for our cousin, Kuya Kakay.

After dinner, we ordered Happy Lemon drinks before seeing Contraband. The movie was kinda like Fast Five minus the cars. :)
