Ken and Jen dine at Chocolate Fire and Maimee’s Garden Cafe
October 28, 2011
It was our 1 year and 2 month anniversary. As usual, we went on a date. :) But first, I had to camwhore :))

I stopped when I poked my eye with my sunnies. Like a boss :))
We went to Chocolate Fire first because we were both craving for some sweets! I was craving for a milkshake and Ken wanted a chocolate cake. We actually already went on a hunt to find this place but instead we got lost driving around Makati for two hours :)) We both love to indulge on chocolates. One word, APHRODISIAC. LOL :))

Taking photos of the chocolates wasn’t allowed. They have a huge array of chocolate selections and everything that we ordered tasted so good. But, they didn’t have Ferrero or Nutella or Hazelnut or Waffle. My favorite is still, Maitre Chocolatier. :) Whatever your problem is, chocolate is the answer :D
I know Kenneth is very busy with school and thesis so we didn’t really make any specific plans, we just knew that we were gonna be together that day. I thought we were just going to wing it, like just eat at the mall or some place random. Ken told me we were going to eat at Greenhills. I thought, okay, fine, Everything at Steak :)) Don’t get me wrong, I totally love that place because I love steak and their’s are really good and affordable, but it’s not really a romantic place. Anyway, we went on a different route until we reached Maimee’s Garden Cafe. Imagine my surprise and kilig when we got out of the car and the guard said, “Sir, may reservation po?” and Kenneth responded “Yung gazebo.“ It turned out he had already called the restaurant earlier and made arrangements for our date. Such a sweet guy. He still surprises me everytime :)

Creepy shot. I love Scream movies!

I’ve always adored the halloween celebration in other countries as I’ve seen it on television as well as my relatives’ photos and videos abroad. My favorite Youtube make-up gurus kept making halloween tutorials, too bad I wasn’t able to try any because we don’t have it here in the Philippines. I’ve always wanted to dress up and go trick-or-treating! I still might, one day! I think I probably will! NY, NY! ;)

Ken’s smile has improved drastically in photos, thanks to me! :)) Ever since he met me, his inner bliss radiated. I guess happiness from within really reflects out :D

I really have nothing much to say about the food. I personally think it was too bland. But the ambiance made up for everything though. I’m glad Ken reserved the gazebo for us, it had such an intimate feeling and as boring as it sounds we just talked and laughed and I couldn’t ask for anything better. I couldn’t ask for someone better :)
P.S. You can take me to McDo and our date will still be perfect <3
